When you select stave tips for S'mores sticks select tips that are ~1" thick, > 7" long and > 1 3/4" wide. This is a good place to use some of the skinnier stave tips that aren't wide enough for Stave Tealight Candles. You can usually find some crates next to the drill press.

Time Standard: 10 minutes
Cut stave tips to 7" in length on the miter saw as shown.
On the table saw, position the stave tip with the inside down, and the tip pointing toward the blade. Use the rip blade to rip one edge of the stave tip off by setting the fence to 1 3/4". Use the Grr-ripper pushblock for safety.
Place the flat side of the stave tip against the fence and rip off the other side by setting the fence to 1 1/2". Use the Grr-ripper pushblock for safety.
