How to Clean Out Dust Collector Filter
Take off the filter from the top. The whole thing twists off the top. Lefty loosey.
Undo the nuts/bolts holding the trash bin to the filter. Leave the bolts w/washers and nuts sitting up there so you don't lose them.
Empty the can in the dumpster outside.
Grab spray attachment for air compressor.
Unscrew the bottom cap as well so you can blow through the whole thing.
Take air compressor and/or leaf blower outside (w/extension cord) and spray the inside & outside of the filter until it is clean.
Reassemble the dust collector, using the same bolts and things you used to take it apart.
